Mountains and Valleys

Visit the main sights of Eastern and Central part of Georgia, with the ancient churches and cave-carved temples, fruitful valleys of Kakheti, full of grapevine and and 8000 years-old traditional method of wine production which is still being used by the local families and wineries. During this tour you will also have a chance to visit Stepantsminda with an occasional breathtaking view of Mt. Kazbegi and picturesque Gergeti church, as well as Borjomi, a resort popular among the Russian Empire nobility and famous until these days for its healthy mineral water springs

Tour Plan
Day 1 Guided walking tour around Tbilisi city centre. Enjoying famous sulphur bath of Tbilisi, (Optional) Exploring the night Tbilisi vibes.
Day 2 Trip to 6th-century ancient monastery complex David Gareji on the border with Azerbaijan, one of the main cultural highlights of Georgia. On the way stopping at Udabno - the remote village in the semi-desert area. Continuing to Kakzheti region until Sighnaghi, so-called city of love, exploring the great views of Alazani valley and narrow streets of the lovely town.
Day 3 Exploring the rich cultural heritage of Kakheti region. The first stop is Nekresi monastery, being one of the oldest Christian temples in Georgia (4th century). Next stop is at Tsinandali, the house-museum of noble Chavchavadze family with its empirical glamour. The next in Telavi, the capital of the region with its cultural heritage. Day finishes with evening arrival back to Tbilisi.
Day 4 Visiting Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. On the way to Stepantsminda we pass through Ananuri fortress. Hiking or driving up to the main sight of the village - Holy Trinity church. Enjoying the stunning view of the Caucasus Mountains.
Day 5 Spending a free day in Kazbegi, with some hiking or wine tasting possibilities, or just enjoying the beauty of area.
Day 6 Descending down to South to Georgia. On the way we will visit 2 very contrasting sites. The museum of Joseph Stalin, and an ancient cave-carved city Uplistsikhe. Arrival to Borjomi, famous for its mineral waters and beautiful green forests around.
Day 7 Exploration of Borjomi, visiting Borjomi park.
Day 8 Rafting at Chitakhevi, barbeque lunch in the nature. Coming back to Tbilisi, farewell Supra with dances & folk music.
