Day 1: Ancient capital and soviet heritage
Accommodation in hotel Georgian Holidays (4*) in Tbilisi. Trip to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and Ananuri fortress (17th Century, UNESCO). Visiting Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, visiting his birth house and museum. Return to Tbilisi, walking tour, visiting National Museum. Dinner at Restaurant Mravaljamieri with traditional Georgian folk music and dance performances.
Day 2: Exploring Kakhetian culture
Transfer to Kakheti, the famous wine region. Visiting Tsinandali and Chavchavadze home museum - 18th century Georgian noble family house. Wine degustation. Going to Telavi, having a lunch in a traditional family wine cellar. Sightseeing in Telavi and visiting Alaverdi monastery. Arriving to Lopota Lake Resort & Spa (4*).
Day 3: City of Love
Morning relaxation at Lopota Lake Resort, enjoying the surrounding nature. Going to Sighnagi, the famous City of Love with a beautiful view on Alazani Valley. Visiting Bodbe Monastery, one of the main pilgrimage sites in Georgia where the relics of St. Nino are shrined. Returning back to Tbilisi. Accommodation at hotel Georgian Holidays.
Day 4: Birds Eye View
Flight to Mestia, the principal town of Svaneti region from Natakhtari. Accommodation at Tetnuldi Hotel. Sightseeing, visiting ethnographic museum and typical medieval-type towers. Cable car trip to Hatsvali mountain. Traditional Svanetian dinner.
Day 5: Ushguli - The highest settlement
Jeep tour to Ushguli - the highest populated settlement in Europe (2200m) and part of UNESCO heritage. Visiting Lamaria monastery complex from 9th century and optional trip to Shkhara glacier. Returning back to Mestia, accommodation at Tetnuldi Hotel.
Day 6: To the seaside
Transportation to Batumi. On the way visiting Dadiani palace and museum in Zugdidi. Lunch in Zugdidi - tasting traditional Megrelian cuisine. Arriving to Batumi, accommodation at Batumi Piazza Hotel. Evening walk at Batumi Boulevard. Dinner at traditional Adjarian restaurant.
Day 7: Summer capital of Georgia
Visiting Batumi Botanical Garden established in 1912 and located on The Green Cape. Lunch at the famous Priviet iz Batumi restaurant. Free time, shopping for souvenirs, possibility to rent bicycles. Farewell traditional Georgian dinner.
